NSP Last Date Extended

University Grant Commission on NSP

Ishan Uday Special Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must have a place with the occupants of North-Eastern states including Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura and Nagaland (only for Ishan Uday Special Scholarship Scheme).
  • There should be only one young girl in the candidate family (twin little girls can also apply) (Only PG Indira Gandhi Scholarship for each young girl)
  • If the age of the candidate is less than 30 years, he can apply for the grant.
  • To apply under Ishan Uday Special Scholarship, the family salary of the candidate should be less than 4.5 lakhs.
  • The candidate has not taken an affirmation in the first year of any degree course (Ishan Uday Scholarship). The candidate had taken the affirmation in the first year of the General Master’s Certificate Program (PG Indira Gandhi Scholarship).

PG Scholarship for University Rank Holders Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidate must be a position holder in his/her graduation assessment (for PG grant for college rank holders)
  • Candidate should have a place with SC/ST category (conspiracy for SC/ST students for PG grant).
  • A candidate must be looking after the primary year of graduation
  • There is a high probability of the candidate not getting 60% marks in graduation (for PG grant for college rank holders)
